Peer Mediators At McLane 

Conflict Resolution       

Conflict Resolution was introduced at McLane in the year 1995.  The staff, as well as selected 4th and 5th grade students, were trained in the use of mediation to solve conflicts without violence.  Peer Mediators have been used on the playground to assist students in conflict. 

Peer Mediators       

Fourth and Fifth grade students are trained in the use of conflict resolution.  These students work with teaching staff and Para-educators in solving conflicts with McLane students on a daily basis.
