BULB PLANTING
On October 9, all students will participate in our annual daffodil bulb planting. Please watch for permission slips to come home with your student and ensure that they are signed and returned to teachers. If you plan to volunteer for the planting, you MUST have an approved volunteer application processed through the school district. The volunteer process is found on the district website here: OSD Volunteer. Please bring your identification with you when you check in.
BACKPACK SNACK PROGRAM
Olympia School District partners with the Thurston County Food Bank’s "FOR Kids" Program to provide food support to students for the weekends when school meals are unavailable. If you would like to participate in this program, please complete the form HERE.

September 18 - Jimmy John’s Fundraiser
Order from the Cooper Point Jimmy John’s between 3-7pm today and a portion of the proceeds will go to the McLane PTSO.
September 23 - After School Activities Begin
Registration for PTSO Programs ends Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:00 PM. For details on classes and to sign up, click HERE. For questions regarding financial support, please contact treasurer@mclaneptso.org (re: PTSO Financial Support/Activities).
September 25 - Multicultural Night & Community Dinner
From 5:30–7:30pm. Dinner will be provided. Come enjoy performances, games and activities. Please bring a side or dessert from your culture to share if you can.
September 26 - Seattle Sounds Game
Game starts at 5:30pm at Lumen Field in Seattle. Purchase your tickets HERE. A portion of every ticket sold will go directly toward our ADA Playground Fundraiser. If we sell 50 or more tickets, our group will get the opportunity to go onto the field after the game for pictures!
