BULB PLANTING

On October 9, all students will participate in our annual daffodil bulb planting. Please watch for permission slips to come home with your student and ensure that they are signed and returned to teachers. We welcome all community volunteers to help with this annual tradition! If you plan to volunteer for the planting, you MUST have an approved volunteer application processed through the school district.  The volunteer process is found on the district website here: OSD Volunteer.  Please bring your identification with you when you check in. Once you are approved to volunteer, use this LINK to sign up for your student’s planting time. 


BACKPACK SNACK PROGRAM

Olympia School District partners with the Thurston County Food Bank’s "FOR Kids" Program to provide food support to students for the weekends when school meals are unavailable.  If you would like to participate in this program, please complete the form HERE.

September 25 - Multicultural Night & Community Dinner

Tonight! 5:30–7:30pm. Dinner will be provided. Come enjoy performances, games and activities. Please bring a side or dessert from your culture to share if you can.  

September 26 - Seattle Sounds Game 

Game starts at 5:30pm at Lumen Field in Seattle. Purchase your tickets here: https://www.gofevo.com/event/Mclaneelementary25.  A portion of every ticket sold will go directly toward our ADA Playground Fundraiser!


October 5th-23rd - Annual Readathon

Get those books ready for our annual Readathon Fundraiser. More information about how students and families can participate will be coming soon.


October 12th - Monthly PTSO Meeting

6:00–7:30pm. Everyone is welcome! Come learn more about what the PTSO is working on, share your ideas, and find out how you can get involved. You can join us in person or via Zoom:
