NOTES FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Welcome back to McLane!  We are off and running with all kinds of exciting new changes!  Please remember that we are working hard to make sure that our start of the year is as smooth as possible. Part of that piece requires the support and flexibility of our families.

The construction has imposed a number of challenges that we are continually working around.  Our main concern is the safety, as well as work ability of our site. This is assessed daily and changes are on an ongoing. Please make sure you check in at our website regularly and watch for emails as we will do our best to updated any changes that my impact our students and their families.

As you know our community continues to grow as we welcome new families.  With this growth we have had a large number of students enrolling over the last few weeks. At this time we are rearranging 1st and 2nd grade in order to accommodate the large numbers. We realize this is not ideal, but ultimately it is the best educational decision for students involved. We really appreciate your flexibility and support as we do the best we can to impact students as little as possible.  It is our hope to have the new class lists available to you at the open house on Tuesday night.
