JUNE 2020 NEWSLETTER

NOTES FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Hi Everyone,

What an unusual ending to the school year. I ask that you take your time to read through all of the information in this newsletter. It will be a busy last two weeks of school. We will have a few events coming up including our 5th grade Celebration, and Staff Parade.  In addition we have been working hard to ensure your students have the opportunity to return everything to McLane and get all of their personal items back, please see below for more details.

I wanted to let families know that all of the online resources that teachers have sent out will be available to access until at least July 31st; most of them will be there all summer. It would be great for students to engage in this work over the summer, however, that is completely up to your family.

Lastly, I know many have questions about next year. Towards the end of this month, I will hold a Zoom meeting for all families who can attend; more details to come. While no one knows for certain what it will look like at this point in time, I want to assure you that we will work relentlessly on behalf of your students and make it the best experience possible. Talk with you all soon. Until then, Take Care!

Principal Brock
