Hi Everyone,

What an unusual ending to the school year. I ask that you take your time to read through all of the information in this newsletter. It will be a busy last two weeks of school. We will have a few events coming up including our 5th grade Celebration, and Staff Parade.  In addition we have been working hard to ensure your students have the opportunity to return everything to McLane and get all of their personal items back, please see below for more details.

I wanted to let families know that all of the online resources that teachers have sent out will be available to access until at least July 31st; most of them will be there all summer. It would be great for students to engage in this work over the summer, however, that is completely up to your family.

Lastly, I know many have questions about next year. Towards the end of this month, I will hold a Zoom meeting for all families who can attend; more details to come. While no one knows for certain what it will look like at this point in time, I want to assure you that we will work relentlessly on behalf of your students and make it the best experience possible. Talk with you all soon. Until then, Take Care!

Principal Brock

Please return all Library books when you come to pick up student items next week (Schedule Below).  All students who have an OSD Chromebook will keep it over the summer. The only exception is for families who are moving outside of the district. If you are planning on moving, please return your Chromebook next week as well.

I wanted to inform you that next week we will be returning all personal items such as personal school supplies, medication, and school work that was left behind during the school closure. This will take place at McLane using the school’s pick up/drop off lane. Several staff members will be at McLane to support you during this time. We will be following all social distancing guidelines and this will be a quick pick up of student items. Please see below for your scheduled time. Additionally, if you have multiple students at McLane, then you are able to come to any of your students' scheduled times and pick up all items for your family.
